Steve Marshall (MCIEEM) Senior Ecologist with the Bat team

Steve has worked for CEC for over 20 years. Steve’s work includes everything from simple bat and owl assessments to project management, surveying and reporting on large scale developments and as a named ecologist for major infrastructure schemes. Steve is a very experienced Natural England licence applicant, and has produced licence applications and method statements to allow works to bat roosts in several hundred cases.

Dave Hunter BSc (Hons), MCIEEM – Bat Ecologist

Dave started working for CEC in 2004 as a subcontractor and as an employee from 2007. Dave is a highly experienced bat ecologist and has applied for many Natural England Mitigation licences to allow work to legally protected bat roosts. He has also produced many method statements and impact assessments to allow works to proceed at sites with bats and/or barn owls without breaching the legislation.

Steve Adams – Senior Ecologist

Steve has worked for CEC for 22 years and specialises in habitat surveys, land management advice and Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), as well as holding licences for badgers, bats and dormice.

Cathy has worked for CEC for 7 years. She is a multi-skilled ecologist having over 8 years’ experience working in this field. She undertakes a wide variety of ecology consultancy work.

Eldon Douglas BSc (Hons) QCIEEM- Assistant Ecologist

Eldon Douglas Joined CEC in April 2021. He is a multi-skilled ecologist with 7 years of practical experience completing bat and barn owl, reptile, and dormouse surveys.
